We went down to the Fort Worth Stockyards this morning and had a great time. I didn't realize there was so much to do down there. We went expecting to watch them round up the herd and come back home. Instead we ending up spending our whole day there doing all kinds of fun stuff. Here comes the Fort Worth Herd Right after the herd the cowboys put on a gun show. Joshua thought this was soooo cool! The Bad Guys Me and Joshua with the bad guys Joshua and the really funny good guy! Joshua the good Cowboy! YEEHAW! Joshua in Jail! :) Getting our picture taken on Big Jake! Joshua getting a pony ride! I think this picture is hilarious. It looks like Joshua is holding this girl hostage. The big train pulling into the station. Turning around on the turn table. Getting ready to ride the train. View of Downtown Fort Worth from the train. Joshua protecting us on the train. Time for some rest. Pulling back into the station.
Joshua's first day back to preschool. He was so cute with his star wars book bag and lunch box. He had a great first day and was excited to be back to his school routine.
Joshua's loves a good game of hide and seek. So, when I walked through the door from work today Rodney told me Joshua was hiding and I needed to find him. Check out where he was hiding. He's such a nut... and of course daddy helped with this hiding spot.
We cleaned the car up tonight and Joshua loved it. He loves helping out around the house. Of course it did help that he was in charge of spraying the windex. He loved that. We had to keep him from spraying the whole car with it. It's just fun doing the small, simple things around the house as a family. So, I decided to take pictures and share them. Trying to get Joshua off the top of the car.
A really good friend of ours at church does photography so I had him do some fun pictures of me and Rodney. His website his www.b5photography.com. Check out his site for more pictures he took of me and Rodney. These two are my absolute favorite!
We had a blast at the Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus tonight. Joshua was so giddy and giggly the whole time. He loved everything from the animals to the acrobats. His eyes were glued to the stage the entire time. The huge sign in the lobby. Look close and you can find Joshua and Rodney. We got to go in and see the circus animals before the show started. We also got to go and meet the performers before the show started. Playing dress up with some of the circus costumes. Some pictures during the show. Joshua's Favorite! The motorcycles in the cage. The End! We weren't in the car for five minutes and Joshua was asleep. He had such a great time. Before he got in his bed when we got home he had to have his toy elephant and tiger to sleep with. :)
Joshua 1:8, "Do not let this Book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
