Day 5 of Thanksgiving

I am thankful for my parents. I read in a book recently that, "it doesn't matter whether your parents are good, bad, or indifferent. God knew that those two individuals possessed exactly the right genetic makeup to create the custom 'you' he had in mind. They had the DNA God wanted to make you."

Me and my momma!! We're closer now than I think we've ever been and I appreciate her so much. We've been through a lot but she's my momma and I love her so very much! She's always been there for me and I know without a doubt that she always will be.

Me and my dad. I've known my dad for 14 years now and although things aren't exactly how I would like them, I am still thankful for him. The times we have spent together and the conversations we've had are very special to me. 

I am thankful that I'm here because of these two individuals and I'm thankful that my momma never gave up on me.
